DIY co2, two 13 watt cfl bulbs, osmocote and flourish fertilizer. It's about three months old and the glosso is the only things that's been in there from the beginning.

Update pics. Vals melting, other than that I don't think it's too shabby.

Oooh i like it very much!! Whats the plant on the bottom making a carpet like function???

Plus the one with red ang green leaves that looks like a stem plant??

I think it is a stem plant. Alternanthera reineckii is the current name. Red scarlet temple

Wanted to show update pics. I went a few days without co2 and paid the price. I've got brown algae or diatoms at the moment. Still liking the look though.

It is pretty and beautiful and awesome as it is!!! Im so glad you have achieved to make that glossostigma grow like crazy and red scarlet temple sooo cool!!!

How do you get the glossotigma to carpet like that. Doesn't it usually grow straight up like a stemmed plant. Would like to do the same but not sure how

Very nice tank...keep up the good work...do you have a diffuser on your co2?

Actually no :). I was getting too much co2 diffusion, so I took off the ceramic diffuser I had on it. It look amateur now but it works.

High light and co2 make the glosso move along the ground. When I had glosso in my 20 gallon with t5 ho lighting, the leaves would barely come out of the substrate.

So if you have one that is already about 6 in tall could you just trim the existing down and plant the trimmings

Sorry I took so long. I believe you can just trim and replant. Not to brag, but when I got my glosso, it was a three inch long stem with only two or three living leaves. I would up my lighting. What's your current lighting and tank setup?

Should have plenty of light. 30 gal 4t5ho 6700k light kit fluval 405 filter. And pressurized co2
