Whats the best algae eater

Looking for a aquatic creature that destroys algae had a apple snail and the two didn't do much and the ghost shrimp messed with them, this a ten gallon tank keep in mind

It has anachris and amazon swords and a piece of drift wood if that will make a difference

If you have a lot of Algae something is wrong.
Is tank in sunlight ?
How many hours are lights on ?
What wattage/type of lights ?
How often and how much water for PWCs ??

For now, run lights 5-6 hours a day.
Feed Less !
Test water and keep up on PWCs.

If you want something that destroys algae, I suggest an algae scrubber.
That said, if you keep your water nice and clean, you could have a nerite snail in there but it's best to find the source of the algae rather to get rid of it once it is already there.
