got a sluggish external filter here is a quick fix

Hi all, I discovered many mths ago my 3ft external filter was not running as good as it could
so instead of spending more money on a new on all i did was add an internal pump to drive the external,
the internal pump has spounges inside the tank so i have added an extra filtering sytem into the tank,
the internal spounges filter the water and sends it through the internal pump to the external which filters it some more and puts it back into the water via a spray bar,
works a treat and i now have the same system running a 4ft tank
