Picked up this little guy earlier after two horrible experiences trying to get other species of catfish. Cute little thing.

First two pictures were while acclimating (each 5 minutes I added some of my tank water to the bag) and a little while afterwards. He's really active so far, and seems like a sweet little fish, but I'll keep an eye on him for the next few days.

Here's a small update: He's doubled in size, and started to develop deep red markings on his fins. He's really getting gorgeous, the awesome quality food I have him on and peaceful tankmates are bringing on the best in him.

He shares the same "territory" as my dominant Eclipse Catfish, which is really surprising to me, but then again all of them are still 3" and decently social at that age. The dominant eclipse absolutely can't stand the second, but everyone has their own "territory" except these two. It's neat to see, the decoration is right against the glass.
 
Here's some updated photos of him now, you can tell he's a lot more colorful. Kept hiding every time the camera lens came close though..
