What am I?!!

I ordered some new aquatic plants online and they arrived with an accidental hitchhiker! I'm probably going to take him to my local shop but I wondered what he is bc if he is an apisto then I do have a nano tank with no fish in it yet but I had no clue if he's just some other type of baby cichlid bs i dont have any african or aggressive cichlids. He is def feisty, holding his own in the goldfish tank.

Interesting. Almost looks like a scarlet badis. If it is than it is full grown

I set him up in the nano tank w all my shrimp today so I hope he stays small bc he's really cute with lots of personality. Not scared of anything! My goldfish is a bully but he was put in his place quickly by these little guy haha it was so funny. Would have left him except my goldfish rank is a long low tank with no lid.. felt like I was asking for a fishy suicide
