Fish tails

I recently had to remove my damsel from my tank, as all of a sudden he developed a taste for my tangs tail. Will the tangs tail grow back the part that's missing? At the moment he seems healthy, happy & eating fine, just his tail damage.

Most fins will grow back as long as the fin wasn't severely damaged, if its not damaged to the base it should be fine.

That's good to hear, any idea of time scale is it a matter or days or weeks/months before it will regrow?

Depends how bad it is. When one of mine lost some of his fins they came back in about 2 weeks.
