Lighting........again ?????

I've just recently swapped from a fresh to SW tank. I bought an actinic blue light for my NO. I'm not liking the blue though.

My question is ........ shouldn't my regular FW light be just fine for FOWLR. I mean if they can grow basically with no light, what would a FW bulb hurt ???????? or am I wrong ???????

yep a regular flourescent bulb should be fine

well i would get a full spectrum SW bulb, the FW wont include the same color spectrum, but a regular flourescent bulb should be fine for just fish...

I think I said this in the other thread too.. the FW bulb is the wrong spectrum, if you don't like the blue then get a 50/50 marine white.
