regal tang

I got a nice regal tang yesterday n it comes out now n then but most of the time its hiding in live rock. Is this normal for a tang ?

What size is your tank I had one in my 260 litre which wasn't big enough and it stressed out majorly never settled so I took it back

So about 50 gallons? Regal tangs need over 100 gallons to be happy. How big is yours? Im sure he is stressed

Something else u may be able to help with ? I have a boyu submersible filter with built in uv light in tank + a external aqua one cf-1000 filter. Is this a good thing ?

I wouldn't want that obtrusive thing in my display. I don't think you need it.

No. I wouldn't say that. I've never used a UV sterilizer on any of my tanks and haven't had a problem.
