That's good. I had one that was quite the athlete (and an LED light stoner too) and he kept trying to jump through the food hole. Poor Mathias. Died of overheating.

Mine doesnt seem to have an interest in jumping out, i used to have him in a rimless fluval chi aquarium but the water evaporation was too much. It had to be replaced.

Happy Bettas are the best. I'm just worried my filter's waterfall might be too strong for a lovely male betta. I might put some pantyhose on the waterfall to try and make it a little less turbulent

Yeah, mine had an ACTUAL waterfall. A fountain really, but it was too strong, i had to cover it with pebbles to lightin the flow.
