Aquarium Advice Apprentice
Greetings all! I am new to the forum, and new to fish keeping. My boyfriend and I got our first aquarium, (a 16 gallon bowfront) in December 2013. We wanted a freshwater planted community tank. We quickly learned that there was a lot more to aquariums then filling them with water and dropping in fish! We made a few classic newbie mistakes, but we have been reading and researching, and enjoying the fun of learning new things. We are hoping to add a new aquarium 55 or more gallons sometime in the near future.
I joined this forum because as we are learning we often have questions, and it is always nice hear from people who have experience. Also, it is just nice to meet other people in the hobby and hear about their tanks and fishy friends!
