so I have two thermometers in my tank one is on the side farthest from my heater and the other is on the same side as my heater. The weird thing is that the one farther from the heater always reads a couple of degrees warmer than the one that is closer to my heater which seems very counter-intuitive. It does not seem to have any negative affect on the fish just curious to see if anybody might know why this happens.
the other question that I have is my heater has some spots on the glass that are sort of glazed over, is that a sign that the heater could be about to fail/break?
