Best lighting to PROMOTE algae growth?

What is the best spectrum of light to promote algae growth?

Are you trying to grow algae for a picky eater or something? Sunlight is probably the cheapest/easiest way. I've heard of people placing some rocks in tank water on a window sill to culture some algae.

Just toss a bunch of P in there... that'll kick start the algae for sure!

I'm looking for a light that will promote aquarium algae growth. Preferably the best possible spectrum to do so.

Any daylight spectrum will be useable for algae... but you gotta have the other stuff too...
