Diffuse water flow from outlet

Hi.
I’m setting up a tank for some Axolotls, and they don’t like much water movement.
The tank/pump/filter I have cane all as one. However the pump outlet sprays directly across the tank just under the water, and causes large amount of movement. What would be the best/easiest way to address this issue?

Try wrapping the outlet with course foam.
