drip feeder question

I just built a simple drip feeder for calcium and alk. My question is, about how slow should the drip be, as slow as I can get it? Also should I constantly refill the syringes, or wait a week or longer before refilling once it runns out?

You should probably run it as slow as you can for a week and monitor your levels, then make adjustments with a faster drip from there.

Makes sense, test water then add as needed.

Can I use this instant ocean reef accelerator in place of the calcium. It has calcium in it along with stonium and trace nutrients.
