Fairfield brand Poly-fill for Fluval 404

I picked up a bag at Michaels Arts and Crafts. It is a Fairfield brand 20 oz. 100% Polyester Fiberfill. It is described as superior resiliency, smooth consistency, will not bunch, washable and non-allergenic. Did not say anywhere that it's fire resistant/retardant, so I'm assuming it's free of any chemicals.

Just checking if anyone else has used it and it's safe.
I'm looking to put it in the top basket of my fluval 404 tonight, in an hour or so.

Same stuff I use... but put it in the bottom, not the top.
