has anybody used this product. and if so what did you think of it. i just got about 10 jars of it from a neighbor that gave up on his tank. he didnt like it tha it made the water cloudy

I just got some and I am planning on keeping track of the progress. I will be using it in my fowlr where I add nothing for additives and only do monthly water changes. The tank has plenty of coraline algae but I recently stareted adding kenya tree coral and xenia so i want to keep the alk and cal up where it should be for a reef tank.
I have never used baking soda either to keep the alk up so I will be reading up on this also. Looking for a cheap way to keep the tank in balance.
I have been using Bionic from day one on my reef and it has worked great, but with some LFS in my area going under it may be time to look into other ways to get things done.
