Filtration for 75G FO tank

I have a plan!

Just making sure this setup will work.

HOB display tank overflow
20G long sump w/ skimmer
10G fuge with drilled overflow into sump

In the 20G long sump, would it be beneficial to add a bio trickle compartment? Bio balls or pot scrubbers would most likely fill it. (Doing FO for now, can't find cheap LR anywhere)

If you are not going to do LR then I would do a trickle with bio balls or some other media. Some LR rubble would be ideal.

I may add some LR but I probably wont go with the normal amount that would make it a FOWLR tank. Am I making a mistake going this route?
