I think my Fluval 404 filter is cavitating??

Hello folks. Iv'e had my 90 gal tank running for about 48 hours now, and one of my Fluval filters keeps intermittantly shooting tiny air bubbles. All these bubbles seem to be settleing all over the inside of my tank. I hear gurgleing water inside the filter also. My other Fluval filter operates quiet. Any comments ? I have tried rocking the filter, and that only seems to make the cavitation worse. Thanks,

From my experience, sometimes the media basket on the top dislodges from it's position and crowds the impeller intake. Try opening it and seeing if that is the problem.

If that doesn't work, try priming it. Mine sometimes takes a while to get the bubbles out and I have to prime it, myself.
