Is anyone using the NPX bioplastics reactor for their fowlr or reef tank

I just purchased the npx bioplastics reactor and I was wondering does it really work? I was also wondering if it reduces your ph levels to toxic levels. The problems would be lowering phosphates and nitrates to near zero levels but reducing ph below 8. Thanks
