All,

I see that some websites offer compatible replacements for the CF1M and CFC1 filters. Much cheaper in cost too.

Does anyone use other than Kent replacement filters in their Kent units?

Thx

I highly doubt anything on that Kent unit is actually made by them. I don't know what CF1M or CFC1 means, but basically if it's a 100 micron sediment filter it doesn't matter where you buy it. 100 micron is 100 micron no matter what "manufacturer" label is on it. Just check what type cartridge it is, sediment, carbon block or GAC. The major difference in any RO unit is the RO membrane itself. The better units use a TFC membrane and cheaper units use a CTA membrane.
