I just built a closed loop like the one from Melev's reef for my 46 gal and I have a bunch of micro bubbles. I used flex tubing from the SCWD to the return nossles with hose claps and PVC from the tank to the pump and pump to SCWD. Could there be a place where air could be getting in? What is a good way to fix that?

i have the microbubbles problem also. but i have them coming from my sump pump. i also have a ribbed flex tubing from the sump pump to my main tank. i will later add a SCWD at the end of that flex tubing. is it the ribbed flex tubing that is causing the microbubbles?

well my sump is plumbed with pvc and has bubble traps which work pretty well.
the problem is with the new closed loop and the clear vinal tubing, its not the ribbed kind its clear with the braided white string inside.
