Nano users....12G Nano Deluxe and Red Sea CO2 Bio System Problems...HELP

Okay, so I was having problems with the bio system, but I figured it out, the tube going to the diffuser is being pinched and there is no easy workaround other than propping the lid open about 2 inches. Have any other Nano users experienced this problem? If no one has a solution, I'm going to be doing some modification soon. I've written JBJ, and they have yet to respond to me.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

okay so I resolved the pinched tubing issue, but upon returning to my home this morning I noticed a new problem with the CO2 bio diffuser. I have it on a timer along with my lights, but it seems when the timer turns the diffuser back on, it gets airlocked, makes a really funny noise and doesn't diffuse any CO2 until I've cleared the air in the system. Any ideas?
