plumbing glue?

Can pvc glue be used when doing your plumbing? I would think it would be toxic, or is just adequate dry time necessary?

Yes, it can be used. Also consider the flexible spa hose. I used a heavier (i believe the blue) glue for it and fit/glued it into pvc joints/elbows. The spa hose worked well.

The black hose is flexible and glued right into the pvc disconnects. Most likely can find the a white hose at Home Depot or Lowes. Got the black version mail order from Marine depot before I knew the hardware stores carried the white version as spa hose.
