6 month update on 180g reef tank

Yeah I think that the market knows what its doing! Ya know offering only certain sizes> But as we get hooked they are hearing cha ching!!!!!

No the 55g is a cichlid tank almost fully stocked. And if I do have to use meds another ten gallon is just 12 dollars lol. The biggest problem I've looked into with 10gs is lighting. Not any 20" t5 fixtures (tht I've seen except one that was over 200 dollars and had like 6 bulbs lol). Not very much selection for 20" pc lighting either.

Thanks! Believe it or not there is a green cap that is growing inbetween the red and purple. Except the green is growing at a slower pace.

I found a 20" 2x40w Current USA PC lamp for about $112 . Now I just have to get some money lol. Once it warms up I can start mowin some yards again 8) haha

Thank you! I worry though at times that if I happen to stop testing and tinkering that things will go haywire!
Do you still tinker everyday with your tank?

What do you tinker Mike? I test my water once a week and Bi-weekly 20% PWC. The only other reason I do something in my tank is to adjust a coral.
