I have a pair of GBRs that has spawned twice successfully. Though my other fish have eaten the young before they get to adulthood.

Now the male has religiously been chasing my female around their tank all day everyday for a month. I check everyday for eggs, but I have found no eggs.

The female appears to be fine. She doesn't seem stressed and she eats regularly.

I am wondering if pairs can "unpair"? If so should I separate them? Any suggestions? I feel bad seeing the female "running" around the tank all day.
