I have one of my 10 gallons setup with a sponge filter heater as well as black sand. Currently i have a fairly decent sized clump of java moss in their.

This tank is for breeding red chest endlers as well as red cherry shrimp.

Im looking for a low to medium light plant that is fairly fast growing to put into this tank.

I like the java moss but it just does not grow fast enough. Optimally i would like to spread it to my other 2 gallon tanks and possibly 30 gallon.

Any suggestions would be helpfull.

Let's make this simple: Water Sprite. In no time if you propagate and fertilizers you will have a tank full in no time.

What about guppy grass?

Also what kind of ferts do you recommend? Especially for a shrimp tank?

I bought flourish excel but thats mostly just carbon.

For both i think root tabs and flourish & excel would be fine. Mebbid has a great diy root tab thread on here.

I find Najas or guppy grass to be fast growing with low light.

Elodea aka anacharis aka water weed if it's legal in your area. Grows very fast.

Anacharis like Brenna said and Hornwort.
Both grow fast with little attention and fry love them!
Both can be rooted or float and do well.
