Need help in identifing disease ID

Hello, everyone. The attached movie shows the fish in question. The tetra seems to start losing balance since yesterday. None of the other fish in the tank has any signs of sickness. Water quality is fine, with 0 ammonia and no2, and ~20 no3. This tank has been established for more than a...

Is this bacterial infection or internal parasite?

It's the 3rd day of the Myxazin treatment, but I don't see any sign of improvement. Fish are still dying at the rate of 3-5 per day. I would still complete the 5-day course, but I probably would need to switch to another med after that. I have just found a living fish with noticeable symptom...

Is this bacterial infection or internal parasite?

Thank you. I will try this out if the Acriflavine in Myxzain does not do the trick. Unfortunately, more lemon tetra dies today, but the cory stops dying. I am not sure if it is because the half dose is working on the skinless fish, but not so much on scaled fish like tetra. A photo of one of...

Is this bacterial infection or internal parasite?

Thank you for the reply. I do not see the lesion or the white film, but the bloody streak seems like what my fish have. Unfortunately, due to the presence of cory and pleco, I can't use salt. Instead, I am treating the whole tank with Waterlife Myxazin now (half dose due to the sensitive fish)...

Is this bacterial infection or internal parasite?

Hello everyone. There is an unknown disease outbreak now in my 90g tank. It all starts when I introduced 10 green laser cory into my tank a few days ago. They were fine in the first day, but then start dying off, 2-3 a day. Now, only one is alive in the tank. The same disease seems to have...

    Reworking my 90g Geo tank

So, I just came back home from a one year study trip and found my tank is kind of a mess. Decided to rework the tank all together. Facing quite a few problems though. The tank still has 5 Geophagus tapajos, 3 cories, 20 Lemon tetra, 3 Emperor tetra, and tons of bristlenose pleco of different...

Stocking issue of a 90g tank

I end up getting a group of 13 emperor tetra, with 4 male and 9 female, as I decide the barbs are just not quite suitable for my tank. The tetras seem happy in the tank, and start eating in only an hour. However, since the emperor tetra are in the tank, the lemon tetras, which are originally in...

Stocking issue of a 90g tank

I have a 90g tank with the following habitants: 6x geophagus orange head tapajos 6x leopard cory 2x bn pleco 14x lemon tetra I know the tank is pretty much fully stocked, but as you can see, most of my fish don't use the upper level of the tank, so I would want to add some mid-top dwellers. I...

weak individuals in group of Geos

I have a group of 6 Geophagus orange head tapajos in my 90g tank. There are 2 male and 4 female. I have kept them for a year now since they arrived at the size of 1.5". The male are growing nicely, with length of 5"+ and showing nice color. However, the problem I now face is that 3 of the...

    Stocking 75g american cichlids

Any tetras with a boarder bodies will be fine. Tetras normally stay at the upper part of the tank while the geos at the bottom. I have 20 lemon tetra with my geos in a 90g tank and they don't really mind each other. Geo might however take on slimmer tetras like neon at night though.

    questions about pearl gourami compatibility

Thank you guys. I have also considered Honey Gourami. I think they are of the same aggression level of the Pearls, so I will properly choose from the two of them. The problem is, I don't know if I can find some females in my LFS, especially when the females are less colorful. Btw, when you say...
