I got them online from a Facebook group called Planted Tank Quick Auctions they auction off plants and it was the first time I had bought one from there.

Yeah that's a good idea I saw some clear little circles in the gravel by these little guys I'll check my plants. I am just becoming aware of the tiny organism world in my tank haha

I don't know if the curled up ones are dead I hadn't seen this many until today and they don't move around too much. Too bad they will die I wanted to see what type of fish they were

They do look like mosquito larvae too. Can mosquito larvae survive underwater? Will they eventually make their way to the surface?
