I used the 2 tablespoon method and then a little extra just to make sure but I wouldn't go over 4 tablespoons just to be safe ... ohh boy it worked like a charm I basically was trying to kill the bba on the crypts and killed some more bba on other parts of the tank I had no idea were there, the...
Yea no problem I figured this might be easier instead of spot treating make sure to read through all the steps and also mind your shrimp if you have any my amanos got through it though
How bout a whole tank treatment over on the plantedtank this method has worked wonders for me when I had bba all over my crypts The "One-Two Punch" Whole Tank Algae Treatment props to DarkCobra
I wouldn't mind the look of internals so much from what I've been through but have definitely seen a problem with that.. money is unfortunately a factor but I tend to save enough in manageable time periods... another factor being is I want to get rid of the emperor so would the powerheads...
To start off I had a bad case of BBA and don't want to deal with it again, set me backa couple weeks .. I noticed water movement is lacking in the tank so here is where my question comes to play I was wondering if I should use a internal filter rated at 400+ gph in the center back area blowing...
I usually feed my shrimp once a day and I skip about one day out of the week
If you were wondering how I feed them, I just crush a small pinch of fish flakes and spread it throughout the tank as best I can and once or twice a week I'll pop in a piece of a algae wafer and that's about it
I did some reading and I would say it should be fine it's considered to be easy and invasive if given the right conditions... but im site you'll get great growth under your circumstances
I know how you feel! No really cares about my aquariums when I first brought up the idea in my house...

Other then that I think your plant placement is pretty good for a first try ..I'm not sure what the plants in the front center'ish arts are but if...
Thanks! I thought something was wrong with ur name for a moment! hahaha
If I could add anything I think some black airline tubing would really help I really dislike the transparent/white unnatural airline at the moment but other then that just can't wait for the plants to grow in :)
Welcome :)... I took both your's and fort's advice and put the sword on the left back corner and built around there but left the red plants and crypts to the right ...here's what I came up with
What do y'all think?
ohhh awesome tank FishingMouse! Thats 10 gallon right? bet you can't wait for those plants to fill in! :D
I think I'll move the sword to the left back corner (thanks fort) and maybe put the red tiger lotus somewhere off set in the middle back area and disperse the rocks in between everything...
Thanks for the input! ... And thanks about my plants, they look much better than before to tell you the truth!
I've been reading about using triangles, horizontal lines and all but unfortunately I don't think I got it down just yet :/ lol
I would appreciate any suggestions on plant placement...
