    Shrinking Hammer Coral

They are T8's even thought they say T5 high output? There are 2 bulbs under each reflector (2 reflectors). The color has faded a bit and the inner polyps aren't extending as much while the outer polyps rarely extend at all.

    Shrinking Hammer Coral

I have a 50 gallon tank with 2 systems of 2 T5 bulbs. My hammer coral has been shrinking. I haven't changed my light bulbs in about 5 months. Could that be why? Also, the hammer coral is under the same lighting system as an elegance coral. Should I move the elegance coral under one system...

More of the tube has come off since I put it in my tank but there is still some attached at the neck and it has moved into a different spot and buried itself under the sand. It still opens and moves...

I have 2 percula clownfish, an emerald crab, a red starfish, some astrea snails and 2 featherdusters. What should the pH be at? Mine is 8.1. I thought that was on the low side. What is the safe range for pH or is it kind of the same with most freshwater... high or low pH isn't as important...

    Psychedelic fish good community fish?

I know it can be done when you keep up with water changes and tank maintenance, but a 20 gallon tank doesn't give much space to replicate their ecosystem. I don't think she changes her water often so its a good thing I didn't order this fish for her before hand! Thank you for the suggestions...
