I think as long are your careful about stocking it should be fine. I try to take a good amount of water if i'm transferring fish, thinking to them it would sorta be the same as a partial water change, don't have to worry so much about acclimating them to the new tank that way. What kind of...
yeah, hes about 7 inches to the tip of his tail, he was from someone else so i didn't want to put him straight into the big tank. And I haven't really gotten a for sure answer as to weather he would be of harm to my little pleco or guppies either. But eventually he will be in a 55gal tank...
That Seneye thing is an amazing idea, If only it didnt cost so much!! $110.80 plus $10 a month per tank.. seems a bit much. I guess if you had a big reef tank with $100 fish or something it would be worth it. but not so much for my guppies lol
well the bit about them being opportunity eaters is true, they will pretty much eat any time you put food in the tank. and most will come to the top with that i'm starving look every time you come near the tank, and basicly the more they eat the more they poop lol.
I try to keep my tanks...

oo i love the purple acei, cant seem to find much information on them, there cichlids right? i dont know much about them but there usually mostly species only tanks right? I was mostly asking out of random curiosity, but the purple acei is definitely added to my someday wish list, but ive seen...
