All of these responses have been on point. I'd hold out on the pictus because of how big it'll get and the mouth it will eventually have.

Hindsight tells me I should have posted the thread a few months into the future to maybe have all 3 of them more mature. Curiosity got the best of me. Had them since they were as long as my fingernail
They were all brown, only a few weeks old -fry. Now just the one has begun colouring up while the smaller two remain brown. They are somewhere around 2&1/2 inches
That one and one of his siblings were lip locked earlier. Looks like I'll be transferring one to my 90G shortly. I appreciate all the feedback. He does appear to be getting lighter.
Just looked them up. They do look very similar. Mine are still very young, only one has any colour at all. I'm hoping they do get to be that bright. My ph is a solid 8.5, so that should help. Thank you for your help!
Have had 3 of these since they were fry. Two of them are still completely brown and now this one has exploded into blue. Very curious. Thank you in advance

Depends on what rainbows we're talking about. My two favourites, at least from personal experience, are the Madagascar rainbow and neon blue rainbow. As far as numbers go, 5-6 is a good number.
Stock set looks good to me! The only thing I'd advise against is the rainbows. A small school will decimate all food that hits the surface. Leaving all other fish a little overwhelmed.
