thanks all ive put a airstone in their now just another quick 1 can i put my preg fish in their till they give birth as theirs no way they can get to the pump ?

surface flow in the sump ?

is it ok in their or do i need to try and take it out ?

looks like a gray colour this is not a saltwater tank its just a tropical tank

their seems to be a film of stuff on the surface of the water in the sump tank just woundering what this is and if its ment to be their

just settintg up a sump tank with a non drilled tank done all the pipe work do i have to have a small box inside the tank or can i get away with just the pipe with a thing on it to stop the fish going up the pipe

i never used a powerhead tho to get the water out of the tank

sump is a tank underneath the main tank acting as a filter if you get what i mean

the tankk is 6ft x 2ft x 2ft with 2 plecos and about 20 - 30 small fish the sump is 3ft x 17 inch x 15 inch

started to make a sump tank now will add more pics when i get a bit further on in my project

added tank started to make the lid ( which is still is not finished )

hello all got my tank last year with a crap stand so i thought i would make a cabinet got my wood and everything else i needed so i made a start main frame was 4x2 made a shelf and added the top next come the front doors trim

hello all just got my sump set up so i can turn it on can i take the filter media out of my fluval 403 and stick it in the sump with the other bits so it will grow on to the new media ? if you get what i mean so i can turn the 403 off ?
