Thanks for your reply. As was discussed in some previous posts, I decided to stick with a community tank. I have 2 German Blue rams in the mix but that's the extent of the cichlids.

I guess there is a remote possibility that the fish store could have labeled the tank incorrectly, and the associate could have identified the wrong fish. Their colors are not extremely vibrant yet as they are babies, so it's hard to tell. I can say that the pink coloring on the ventral side is the pink part of the ventral fin, not on the actual belly. He/she just had the fin kind of tucked under in the picture.

Their colors are normally brighter than in the pictures, they seem to change in intensity a lot! I just got them yesterday they're probably still somewhat stressed and acclimating to their new environment and tank mates. And yes I also thought they were too young to sex, I couldn't tell.

That's a good idea, it would be cool if they breed! I think they are too young to sex but I don't see a pink underbelly on either of them.

Thanks everybody. Its coming along, I think I'll add a black background soon. Do rams like the pots or something? I haven't done that before.
