thanks all...as posted its my brothers fish i was not with him or i wouldnt be askinng this question...his tank is cycled i take care of it for him....but sadly he is an impulsive buyer it was a return ovbiously its like 7 inches long..., and eating so im not overly concerned but he is fine...

keen to see theoutcome.... do you prep your driftwood...i never did any my tank seemed to be fine it wasnt cloudy and my fish never seemed stressed out, im wondering if its because its not that much wood, its just long and stragley

finally got the tank cycled (only took 16 days!!!)
have 4panda and 1huge juvi(someone just broguth him back to the lfs, he was in a 10g) my zebra danios, guppies, mystery snails and a recic amount of rcs(got them 75% off) :brows:
if theres no fish and you ever plan to have live plants i suggest adding some sort of organic substrate(no ferts) can be a pain later(you will want to drop most of the water and will be cloudy for a few days
cycling is natural most bacteria in a bottle is chemicals(not natural) best way is to go to your lfs get some benificial bacteria and be paitent...so hard so worth it....adding bb chemicals could also reset your cycling process....when i bought my tank i had 3 bottles of bottled bb. Still have...
