Hmm don't think it's any type of star polyp. I looked up the flower pot and i think it is similar to that, if not the exact same! You said "flower pot or an ave..." what did you mean by "ave"?

Welp, Frogspawn just perished today. No idea why yet. Test my params and all is well, Nitrates were about 5-10 ppm but I don't think this alone would kill the coral... I was only able to test the 4 basics and salinity. What other tests should I purchase tomorrow? (Calcium, alkalinity, etc.)...

The bumpy things on the rocks are the same as the thing that was eating the fish. When they're fanned out they look like they do on the rocks but when they suck their little tentacles or whatever they are in, they look like the one in the picture with the damsel. Yes, tank cycled completely...
