Looks great. Yes the powerhead is a good idea to provide circulation of the water around the live rock. If you decide to get some corals in the future, you definitely need the water flow.

Have you thought about cutting a piece of blue acrylic to cover the overflow box? It's a little distracting. Maybe just to me?
This was my experience as well. Then the smaller ones get stunted because they don't grow at the same pace and can't compete for the food. I find they then form a natural pecking order and the smallest two become the runts.
