Like rivercats said, just get three and if they pair exchange or give the odd one away. It's really your only option as a 45 gallon cannot hold 6+ full size adults which is how many you need to spread the aggression out in a school. I tried 4 when I first started keeping angels and it was a real...
I prefer old school but do use both in one tank. The digital is just as accurate so far but only have had it for a yr. didn't pay much for t either, like 10$ I think.
Decent light, horrible design for the legs that attach to the tank. I can't put my glass top on because it goes on the inside and outside of the lip of the glass.
I have 4 angels with some cherry barbs, neon tetras, and rainbows. My bottom feeders are Cory's, a lf bn pleco, and some ottos. Heavily plant to avoid any fighting between the angels and you end up with a beautiful active tank.
That would worry me as it could be putting all that pressure on one part of your tank, could be why your seal was going bad so frequently. My dad had a tank that he couldn't get level so he used a piece of wood under the tank when he figured out his floor was warped.
I refuse to buy from petco or petsmart, no way I would ever buy from wal-mart either. Just go in one of these and start asking questions about the fish, their responses are almost always wrong in some way. If you can, find a local store that only sells fish, you may pay a little more but it's...
It can be done, but not in a ten gallon. IMO a ten gallon is not big enough for one angel, certainly not with a school of fish with it. The Angel might be small now, but they grow fast if taken care of correctly.
Thank you guys for the info, rivercats your tank is amazing. Very similar to what I have pictured for mine, I have a lot of work to do, but after seeing yours i know it will be worth it.
I am looking to add different colors to my tank, all the plants I have now are all green. I was thinking about looking for some reds and maybe other colors as well. Any suggestions for a some colorful plants for my tank?

Well that depends on where you live, states have different laws for what fish you can have. If would say a snakehead would have to be pretty high on the list.
