Hey guys. It's been awhile since I've checked in. I've torn down my Malawi tank since finding out my family is expecting twins in June! Anyway, this is my kids tank. This stuff just popped up the other day. I was thinking cyano but didn't think it grew in FW. Thoughts?

Bettas are labyrinth breathers meaning they breathe from the surface. He's not lacking oxygen unless your tank is completely covered up tight. Just make sure there's an opening on the lid that allows for fresh air

They are giving my area 85% chance of prolonged power outages. I have not dealt with this yet since my tanks have been running so if I lose power ill be wrapping my tanks in foil and aerating by pouring water from a foot off the tank. But to be honest sandy isn't living up to her expectations...

Sand is easy to clean and looks so nice. It's a bit if a pain prepping it and clearing up the water afterwards but it really is worth it! What type of setup is this?

I don't have a clue. Unless they were sick, *shrugs* but it totally happened! If I remember correctly, his wife was being a huge jerk to him so this is his idea of revenge. Idk, they obviously weren't the most stable of people lol
