Thanks. I'm hoping to get a lot more spawns as good as the first one. I'm gonna remove the fry after a month to trigger another spawn. That way the little ones are a bit bigger and easier to maintain in their own tank

Thanks. I've seen some really dark kribs but these ones stood out to me. My plan is to let a spawn grow for a month then remove the fry to another tank and then trigger a respawn.

Yeah I'm gonna pop by the local shop that I do business with as I'd rather buy from him then some big store. The only sad thing is that he can't compete price wise with walmart on the tank. But all my fish and plants and supplies I buy through him and currently I'm supplying him with fry as a...
Finally had my pair of kribs spawned over the holidays and so far all is well with the fry. Got lucky with these two as I picked them up on a whim hoping they would pair up.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Walmart up here has a 5 gallon tank for under 40 bucks which has a filter and led light hood setup. I'll probably just pick up a small heater and some sand substrate and call it a day. And then I'll be picking up some java moss and moss balls and some driftwood...
Yeah the dollar per gallon thing would be okay if I wasn't in canada. I have extras of everything kicking around in a spare parts bin. So my cost won't be too much. I'm just kind of looking for a small tank that comes with somewhat of a setup that I can alter if need be.

Hey folks. Just wondering what tank would be recommended as a breeding tank for shrimp. I am not looking for anything massively large. Something small and worth the money. I intend on setting this up with mosses and other live plants. Just need to know which small tank to acquire. Thanks

I'm 100 percent sure it's a bristlenose now. I saw my pair today and they look identical to passengers

I have a pair that spawn and they look so similar but mine hide a lot. I honestly thought I lost one before mysteriously. I wish I paid that price for mine. Where I am I paid 10 a piece.

It does look like a bristlenose to me as both of mine resemble it. More then likely a female if so as no bristles above the upper lip. I would keep an eye on it and if it grows over 6 inches it's not a bristlenose

This is my current lighting situation. I have a 48 inch Led display with 4 day time pods and 2 night time.
