First pic on the right side of the green rock.
Second pic growing all over intake tube.
It's greyish in color. South American predator tank. Java fern only plants, 10 hrs of light daily.
Any ideas? Should I just pull it out and clean or is it harmless? Been growing about two weeks now.
Update:
Tank finished, kinda
Stock so far
1 Jack Dempsey
1 Red Devil
1 Texas
4 Tinfoil Barb
1 Common Pleco
Gonna remove the tinfoils later when the cichlids get bigger. Have large driftwood pieces and rock caves. Had java fern & swords but someone ate the swords so now just java fern.
Someone is eating all my amazon swords in my tank.
Does anyone know who it could be?
125 gal.

Jack dempsey
Red devil
Texas cichlid
4 tinfoil barbs
Common pleco
Any help would be appreciated, please don't attack me about my stocking list. They get along fine and are taken care of...
I just bought a 20 pound bag of Eco-complete substrate, for my 20 gallon planted tank. Just wondering if I should layer with sand or mix? Or just pure eco-complete only.
The tank will be a RCS breeder tank with low light plants.
Unless you have purchased some good lighting. Some low light stuff like java fern would be good. It's hardy and shouldn't be planted but attached to drift wood or rocks. Some African cichlids will just dig up plants in the substrate or eat them.
How long to prime My sponge filter in my established tank? Have a female endler about to give birth, and want to try the seprate tank method for rasing fry.
I wish to start a RCS tank for breeding also. I already breed endlers in a seperate tank for feeders. I wanted to chime in with a question. How fast will they produce feeder sized shrimp? And would a bigger tank allow for a more plentiful harvest so to speak? I wanted to try it in a 20 gallon.
Cherry barbs and rosie barbs are cool fish also, I have kept with tigers no problems. They are also less nippy IME. Adds another color to a schooling mix as well.
I don't know how many gallons a 127 liter is but I don't think clown loaches are ok in there. They can reach 1 ft in length and should be kept I'm schools of 4 minimum I believe.
I read the label and sniffed mine, no smell? But past couple days its pretty nasty. So I'm in the same boat, had no smell at first, but about the 5-6 time I used it I noticed the smell.
