    130 Gallon switch to sand

Thx fishguy! I've decided to go all male peacocks. You talked me into it. lol. I love all the great colors. My buddy gave me three small (1.5 inches) Libido chromis to begin with. No telling male or female though. Just hoping they will live through this silent cycle. Water tests show 0 amm. So...

    130 Gallon switch to sand

Done. Just removed all gravel, emptied water, rinsed my sand, and created three nice rock formations. Looks great! Filled it with tap water all I need now are some fish.I can't decide on mbunas or peacocks. Love them both. I was really surprised at the size of some peacock cichlids I saw online...

    130 Gallon switch to sand

Just gorgeous! Is that tank strickly peacocks, or a mixture? Males and females? That's another thing. What should I be doing? 1 male 4 females , all male? You'll have to excuse me, I find these cichlids to be rather confusing as far as all the different species go. What to keep with what? I...

Hey, I could use a little advice. I currently have a 130 g tank, gravel bottom, that has been operating now for well over a year, housing 5 angelfish. I have since then lost 3 of the five to aggresive disputes. I now have one angel alone in a 40 gallon spare tank, and I have this huge male...

    New tank advise needed

Once I've got these water conditions up to par, I am planning on putting 4 or 5 more mid sized angels mixed breeds hopefully, and I would also like a Red Spotted Severum. Would this be okay? As I read, Severums seem to get on with angels pretty well. If so, should they be kept in pairs or alone...
