Well, I was wanting to use bottled until I could affort an ro/ di unit. I'm only 14, and simply cant afford one at the moment.

There's no places that sell Ro/Di in my area, and I don't feel like buying am expensive ro/di unit. Would bottled water work?

Ive been using tap water treated with prime. Maybe that what it is?

I know there's.nothing wrong with it, but just the fact that its at 0 is odd. I've always had at least 5 ppm of nitrates. I guess I'm doing something right :D

Okay, my nitrites are at 1 ppm. I feel so much better :) now, I just need to get my trates down some, and I'll be in the clear! The spike was from over feeding. Its not my source water. I went to the processing plant, and had them test it.

I'm finally getting somewhere with trites. I've been doing 3 gallon water changes daily. They've came down to about 7 ppm. Still deadly though. Wish me luck! :p
