I was curious if anyone knew what kind of cichlids these were? First I think is some type of flowerhorn, fish store labeled it a jack dempsey I know that is wrong.Next is a frontosa just wondering which type?And sorry for the pics its the best I could do

ya near it so it can spot it,make sure its a small/medium size cricket not the monsters they sell for lizards,it wont be able to swallow it.oh a make sure you watch it get eaten, more then once i was in a hurry and just dropped it in only to have it crawl out of the tank and hear my wife scream...

they eat insects,crickets/flys any bug small enough to fit in their mouth
they will eat floating food but ive had two and mine never ate flakes just bugs and freeze dried blood worms

i have a red top zebra cichlid that she noticed was stuck between a lava rock and the glass, looked like it was gonna die for about a week but pulled through now its name is crush.she comes up with all names this way.
