they do seem to hang out along the top of the aquarium. Just thought you might be collecting the shells. I used to collect lots of different ones. Neat hobby to have. How do the designs get on the shells? I wondered about that.
Those are the snails my stomatopod loves. Is there something they are used for that is unique? She cracks them is several pieces so shells are worthless after she eats. Do you collect them? If she leaves any whole maybe I could send them.

I thought we all needed a good laugh so decided to post my "new acquisition" for a change. I usually don't for lack of a camera and I know how AA people like their "lookies"..lol. Well, surprise !!! I DO have a camera and took some pics, but now I have to learn how to get them to this thread...
Thanks, Mike...makes good sense to me. Their mouths are so tiny.
I wondered if they would survive in SW...guess we got an answer..hope it's for a few days.
A couple of weeks ago I got a Black Molly and acclimated it to my SW tank that I had prepared for my Goby/Pistol shrimp pair that are coming tomorrow....being told that the babies would make excellent food. Well, they were right....today, there are 20-30 Black Molly babies swimming around my 20...
The plot thickens....
Well, Kurt...my turn to be the object of returns...ordered the Azoo battery operated back up and it runs on electric but not battery..The outside mailing and inside box are both warped and the lid over the batteries is broken..Naturally, them being who they are, F&S are...
Direct the blame where it is due
Kurt...try calling UPS and Fedex and really complaining....I feel your pain as I had several bad experiences last winter with them. There has been a tremendous sales of salt due to specials running out the end of April. Buckets have been order in mass...
I think there is a lot more to put question of blame to then on assuming there is a Stomatopod there. Have you heard any clicking repeatedly....seen shells...body pieces laying around?
I agree with Turbo...better read Ziggy's thread and if it were me, I would get that foam out from under the aquarium yesterday !!!!! Not a good thing for a glass aquarium. Good luck.
Any chance you have a smaller aquarium or a friend does that you could use temporarily? I have heard people say they use a large plastic cooking spoon or something to slowly keep the water stirred. If you have a bubbler it will help get water to the top to exchange oxygen (it won't put oxygen...
I have two cleaners and they are great friends !! They both hang out together under a rock overhang and are constantly digging out stuff to eat along with cleaning the fish. My Clarkii Clown hosts them and brings them food. Some clean fish more than others.
I hand feed (using two fingers)...
I don't use any chemicals and don't use RO/DI either. My water is good and I just aerate it for several days and then add salt/heater and powerhead for a couple of days and leave it in the Brute with heater/ph until I am ready to use it. Unless you find your water has Nitrates in it this will...
I have several Aiptasia under and on my LR and found a jar of Mrs. Wages. Can someone tell me how to mix it up and with what? I have the hypo container but not the needle...can I somehow put a stiff piece of airline on it? Or is there another way?
Any help is appreciated.
Also, will...
