Thanks for the advice. That happens to be one of the reasons why I'm trying to get the stands. In addition, I think it will be easier maintenance as well.

I have a 260watt Coralife Aqualight PC Light on my 72gal oceanic bowfront tank. I currently have it sitting over the plexiglass tank cover but want to instead mount it on stands. I was wondering if I use the Coralife stands for the Aqualight will I still be able to put the canopy on the tank...

One of my fish doesn't take flake food but only frozen foods. Can I prepare the frozen food ahead of time (i.e., thaw it, rinse in RO/DI, soak in vitamins & garlic) and then REFREEZE it?
