Careful with the frozen brine shrimp. My male ram gorged on them and ended up with a really swollen stomach and scales that look like a pineapple. He doesn't have the problem with blood worms though

I really like the first one. It does look a little over stocked now. Not a bad looking tank though, real natural feel. The substrate is fine for your fish but you may want some finer stuff around your plants. I'm no expert though. Good to see your rescuing fish from ending up in the loo :)

The lost eye and fins look like he's been partially eaten after he died. Do your other fish look sick? The fluctuating ph could also be a problem. I would try to stabilize the ph and see What's causing the changes. Ph shock can kill seemingly healthy fish. I'm no vet though just a thought.
