I've just taken another look at my ph reading and it seems to have changed colour, its showing between 7.6 and 8.0, maybe I should wait longer and give it chance to change colour next time

Thanks for your reply I ended up moving my filter with my fish at the same time and everything has been fine over the past few days the water readings have been all spot on and the fish seem to be much happier in their larger tank. How long would I need to keep my old filter in the tank?
