What I did and it work is leave the tank for 2 weeks, then add a bit of food every day and then buy 6 hardey fish like zebra danios , and then check your levels every other day and see how that goes it worked for me and now had a problem with any of my levels.

I want a new filter but I want to know what the best I can get for bout 60-80 pounds ?

My gourami been acting lifeless over last few days but it keep moving position in the tank and then after a short while lays on a plant or bog wood for ages ( we do have a female gourami recently added ) we just don't know what happening :/ help please ( all test of the water ok ) )

That is the discolour from the bog wood but it the ruby shark he a lot more active then usual he not normally like that

There not gasping for air and the ammonia level are ok and the other test are fine and did a wc today I'm puzzled

My fish are at the top section of the water and there is an air pump in the water and filter working so help please

The tank had one or two snail in one day so i was picking them out to keep them under control and then came home yesterday and there millions of them!!! , what is the best way to get rid of them ?

About 2 hours or so? I really don't understand what happened.

We were moving the tank itself to a different spot, so we had to remove most of the water. Do you think that's the reason they almost died? Because they were in a bucket? Maybe lack of oxygen ?

One didn't realise, when cleaning the tank, putting 14 fish into a Bucket with a heater would almost boil them to death. They were all lifeless within seconds to spare. When I put them back in the tank, they took a while to come round, however, we didn't loose any, but it was a close one.

Don't kill your fish by putting in a bucket with a heater !!!!!!
