Yes agreed, and if your water gets cloudy in appearance do a larger water change. Sent from my SM-N910T using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    bamboozled any advice welcome

Bacteria eating amonnia have begun to take hold and are producing nitrites as a byproduct. Your still in the middle of your cycle. Keep up the water changes and you should be fine Sent from my SM-N910T using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    Sand goby please help

Hi I have a freshwater sand goby. He's in brackish water and had been fine. But recently I noticed he keeps putting his head out of the water and there's like a clearish white build up on his face. Idk if it's just a slime coat or if it's a disses or fungus or something. Please help. Thanks...

    Dead Horseface Loach :(

Is it possible it could have been sick or had a parasite from when you got it? That a good possibility especially if it was wild caught. Sent from my SM-N910T using Aquarium Advice mobile app

Is my water fresh, brackish, or salt?

That's great information! I would only consider the mesohaline zone to be brackish water. Sent from my SM-N910T using Aquarium Advice mobile app

I'm sure if the inverts are to small they will be food in seconds. I would like to add a puffer but something a lil more odd...

    cycling advice?

Ok thanks I really appreciate the ease of mind you have granted me. Once it cycles I planned on getting a gsp and a brackish catfish to help keep the bottom clean. Do you think it would be advisable to add both once it does cycle? Sent from my SM-N910T using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    Help identify eel.

Yeah I agree on getting a bigger tank and I plan to but it seems like he don't mind having tank mates. I left the feeders in for a week till they stayed getting brown spots on there body from the salt water then I removed them since he only ate one and im around enough to feed him the fresh...
